Ours combine a high-density orthopaedic mattress layered onto standard foam, with a natural British wool sleeping surface, creating a bed that supports joints while regulating temperature and managing moisture. The result is a deeper, drier, more restorative sleep — the perfect sleeping environment.

Yes. The topper uses 100% British wool fleece. It is not blended with synthetic fibres, allowing it to naturally regulate temperature, wick moisture, and resist odours.

As a natural wool product, some initial shedding of “fluff” is normal, particularly when new — similar to a wool carpet. This will settle quickly with use. Regular brushing or light vacuuming will help keep it looking its best.

Yes. The outer covers and wool topper are removable and machine washable at 30°C using a wool-safe detergent. We recommend air drying and refitting while slightly damp. The inner mattress is protected by a water-resistant cover and can be spot cleaned if needed.

The Classic Bed is built to last for years, not months. All components are replaceable or repairable, and we design every bed to withstand daily use while maintaining its shape and support over time.

No bed is completely chew-proof. While the Classic Bed is extremely well made and durable, we recommend waiting until your dog is through the chewing stage before investing in a premium bed. Our toughest option is the Working Dog Bed.

As a general guide, a Terrier-sized dog would suit a Small, a Spaniel a Medium, and a Labrador a Large — but we recommend checking our size guide. Choose a size that allows your dog to lie fully stretched out comfortably. If in doubt, sizing up is usually the best option.
