12.7kg and 18 1/2 inches. She's becoming more confident and ranging further on walks. Islay is very easy in the house but always determined to find a stick to chew when she's in the garden.
Recall is very good for her age, as is sitting, and staying. She's an enthusiastic retriever, but unfortunately I've let her develop the habit of spitting the retrieve out at my feet, rather than delivering it to hand. I'm in the process of teaching her the 'hold' command which has worked well with Yogi. It's not something I've used until recently but I'm now a fan. There is nothing worse at a field trial, that your dog unceremoniously spitting out the retrieve, in front of the disapproving judges.
